The family of Joe Lombardo (usher at 8:30 a.m. for many years) is requesting help to transport Joe to and from Mass on Sunday morning. Due to health reasons, Joe is no longer allowed to drive. Mr. Lombardo lives in the Southside area of town, near Health South Hospital.

A group of parishioners will meet in the Church parking lot at 6:00 a.m., Saturday, May 6th, then car caravan, car pool or mini-bus ride to Biloxi, MS.  There, we’ll join with the Hands On Net-work, mostly removing debris and sanitizing gutted homes before their reconstruction. We’ll return late Sunday evening.  Sign ups (just as an expression of interest) the weekend of April 29-30 to get an idea of how many might be going, and to answer questions about what’s involved. Text Box: With Prayer, All Things are Possible
The Pastoral Council is beginning a very special ministry at St. Francis Xavier. Some of our homebound parishioners are being asked to become “Prayer Angels” and to pray for the needs of other parishioners.
You are invited, if you have a prayer request, to please drop a note in the Prayer Angel box located in the Church foyer. You do not need to identify yourself or to give the full name of the person for whom the prayers are sought. Be as anonymous as you would like because God will know who you are.
       Some examples might be:
· Please pray for Joe who is suffering from a serious illness.
· Please pray for my daughter who is having a crisis of faith.
· Please pray that I might find a job

Text Box: GRIEF SUPPORT

Please remember if you are away this summer to mail your weekly offertory to the parish office. Summers, historically, have been low offertory months, but with your help, we can meet our monthly expenses. Thank you in advance.
